2010-11 School Bus Documents

FOR SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Pre Bid School Bus Survey - If your district intends to purchase buses in 2010-2011 and you wish to receive the bidding specifications for your intended purchases, please complete and return this survey to the EPC. This form in no way obligates districts to purchase busses through the EPC.

Board Resolution - After you have returned your survey form to the EPC to indicate your interest in purchasing a school bus, you will need to have your school district pass a Board Resolution. This is a sample Board Resolution you can use for your district.

Trade Ins - This will direct you to a page to list busses you are considering for Trade In.  The vendors will base their Trade In value on the information that is given on this form. If you will not have trades, please indicate "NO TRADES". 

Bus Purchasing Calendar - This calendar lists key dates in the Bus Purchasing Process including meeting dates you will want to attend.

Legal Advertisement - This year the Legal Advertisement for Bus Bids will be in the Dayton Daily News on September 10, 2010.  (A copy will be posted here after it has ran in the newspaper.)

FOR VENDORS - These items will not be "final" until October 4, 2010.

Bus Purchasing Specifications - This is the packet that is given to the Bus Vendors. It contains bus bid specifications, conditions, etc. 

Trade Ins - This is the list of potential Trade Ins from the school districts. 

Bus Purchasing Options Spreadsheet - These are the Excel Spreadsheets that list the specific options that the Vendors will be bidding on. If you have any options you would like added, please e-mail Robin Houston at ep_finance1@mdeca.org .

Alternate Bus Purchasing Options Spreadsheet - Same Excel Spreadsheet as above, only for "Alternate" busses.

Participating Districts - This is a list of the districts participating in the 2010-11 EPC Bus Bid.  Districts may also check here to make we have received your Board Resolution and Trade In Information.

Homeland Security Form - Required by all bidding vendors
