PRICE LISTS: 

2 Hour Asbestos Awareness
- $20/person 
For Custodians only, (new hires, existing & subs).  All new hires (full time or sub) needs to be within 60 days of hire.  Required annually (each school year).

14 Hour (2 day) Operations & Maintenance Training - $200/person
For all maintenance staff, one time as initial training.  Annual O & M Refresher (1 day) required  thereafter.

O & M Refresher (1 day) - $60/person
For all maintenance staff that have received the O & M 14 Hour initial training.  Required annually, (each school year).

3rd Day Training - $100/person
For Program Managers Only, required initially.  Annual O & M (1 day) Refresher required thereafter.
 

Please note that if you have a large group in house, Tackett Environmental may consider coming to your school to do training on site.  There is usually a $100 On-Sit Fee for this service.

 

Additional Information

A Program Manager is the “Designated Person” for asbestos in each district.

AHERA (the law that governs schools regarding the management of their asbestos – enforced by the EPA) requires that every LEA (Local Education Agency – ie: school) designate a person to be in charge of making sure that they are in compliance regarding the management of their asbestos. This person is called the Program Manager (or some refer to him/her as the Designated Person). They are required to take an additional day of training (O&M 3rd day).
