Top Tips: How to improve your inline skating and quad skating fast!

1. Mix it up!

Practising the same inline skating or quad skating move over and over again can take the fun out of things. Try working on a number of inline skating or quad skating moves at one time - that way you'll practice for longer, and you'll improve your inline or quad skills on a number of fronts.

2. Pad up to practice new moves!

Still can't get that new inline or quad move perfect? Try it with a full set of pads on (even if you don't normally wear them) and see how your confidence and willingness to push your limits increases.

When you lose the fear of falling, you'll also lose your inline skating or quad skating limitations.

3. Just ask!

It is a universal truth that inline skaters and quad skaters are amongst the friendliest people on the planet. So, if you see an inline skater or quad skater do something cool in the park, just ask them how they did it. This is a great way to make new inline or quad friends too!

4. Ever tried roller hockey?

If you are looking to improve your inline skating, then getting involved in roller hockey guarantees rapid improvement.

Once you are caught up in the excitement of a roller hockey game, you'll find that your feet and your inline skates soon learn to look after themselves. So why not give roller hockey a try?

Most roller hockey teams play on special inline roller hockey skates. However, if you are just looking to get involved in a roller hockey game - to see if you like it - then try playing on your quads to start with. If you do, then there are plenty of shops in London selling inline skates designed specifically for roller hockey.
